Who we are

EOR Vietnam is a Vietnam-focused Employer of Record (EOR) service. We hire your worker through a Vietnam-registered employing company, which becomes the legal employer: it signs the Vietnamese labour contract, runs payroll in VND, withholds personal income tax and pays social, health and unemployment insurance, while you direct the day-to-day work. The employing company and the legal route it uses are named in every written quote and contract, before you sign anything.

We work in Vietnam only. We do not employ anyone in any other country. Our guides to other countries exist for teams that hire in several places, and in them we appear only as the option for the Vietnam side of a team.

Our fee is a flat US$149 per employee per month for Vietnamese nationals; foreign nationals who need a Vietnamese work permit are quoted separately. A refundable deposit equal to two months of employment cost is held and returned at the end, less any unpaid amounts. There are no setup, onboarding, offboarding, contract or payslip fees, and gross salary and statutory employer contributions are passed through at cost. The payroll guide shows how those contributions are built up.

We would rather be judged on things you can check — the law, the numbers and a written quote — than on photographs, logos or claimed client counts. So this site publishes no customer quotes, ratings, client numbers or awards.

What this site publishes

  • Guides to employing people in Vietnam: payroll and statutory contributions, personal income tax, labour law, the minimum wage, work permits, leave and termination. All of them are listed in the guides index.
  • Tools, such as an employer-cost calculator that runs entirely in your browser.
  • Comparisons of Employer of Record providers in Vietnam and, for multi-country teams, in other countries.
  • Sponsored articles, if and when we publish them, clearly labelled and kept apart from everything above.

Editorial policy

Sources come first

Every figure on this site names where it comes from, in a numbered source list at the foot of the page. Our order of preference is: Vietnamese legal instruments — laws, decrees and circulars — and official government sources; then law firms and major accounting firms for interpretation; then a provider's own public page for its prices and features; and last, third-party figures, which we label as third-party and date. A provider's marketing never settles a legal question on its own.

Everything is dated

Rates, thresholds and prices change. Each figure carries an “as of” or “accessed” date, and each page shows when it was last reviewed.

We follow the law as it changes

When a legal instrument is replaced, we update the pages that rely on it. For example, administrative penalties for labour violations moved from Decree No. 12/2022/ND-CP to Decree No. 283/2026/ND-CP from 10 September 2026, and our pages cite the new decree.

Unsettled points are called unsettled

Where the law is unclear or advisers disagree — for example, on how labour-leasing rules apply to EOR arrangements in some European countries — we say so and set out what to ask, rather than state a conclusion we cannot support. Everything here is general information, not legal or tax advice.

No invented proof

We do not publish made-up statistics, reviews, ratings, quotations or case studies.

How our comparisons work

  • We sell EOR services in Vietnam, so we have a commercial interest, and every comparison says so at the top.
  • Comparison tables are not rankings unless a page says otherwise. Where a table departs from alphabetical order, the page states the reason beside it.
  • “Best for” labels describe a use case, not a verdict on quality, and each page explains its criteria.
  • Prices and features come from each provider's own public page on a stated date. Where a price is not published we write “Quote on request” rather than guess.
  • Inclusion is not endorsement, and no list is exhaustive.
  • Payment does not buy a place, a better position or a changed description in any comparison.

Our Vietnam comparison is how to choose an EOR in Vietnam; the others are listed under EOR comparisons by country.

Corrections

If you find an error — a rate, a date, a legal reference or a provider's details — email info@eorvietnam.vn with the page address and, if you can, the source. We check it against the source, correct the page and update its review date. Providers listed in a comparison can ask us to update their details in the same way; we change them once the provider's own public page confirms the new fact.

Privacy

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We hold only what you send us through our forms or by email, as set out in the privacy notice.

Frequently asked questions

Who is behind EOR Vietnam?

EOR Vietnam is an Employer of Record service brand for Vietnam. The Vietnam-registered company that employs your staff, and the legal route it uses, are named in every written quote and in the contract, so you know exactly who the employer is before you commit.

Does EOR Vietnam employ people outside Vietnam?

No. EOR Vietnam employs people in Vietnam only. Our guides to other countries help multi-country teams compare providers there, and we appear in them only as the option for the Vietnam side of a team.

Is the information on this site legal advice?

No. It is general information, dated and sourced so you can check it. For a decision on your own facts, take advice from a lawyer or tax adviser qualified in the country concerned.

Do providers pay to appear in your comparisons?

No. Payment does not buy a place, a position or a description in our comparisons. Sponsored articles, if we publish any, are separate and labelled “Sponsored”.

How do I report a mistake?

Email info@eorvietnam.vn with the page address and, if possible, the source. We check it, correct the page and update its review date.
